Position Overview:

Do you have a passion for network optimization and a proven track record of success in leading complex IT projects?
We are searching for a highly skilled Network Technical Project Manager to join our team and assist a leading client! In this role, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the implementation of cutting-edge network technologies for key IT projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage bandwidth upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to services during network refresh activities.
  • Develop project governance plans and oversee technical aspects.
  • Design and implement network solutions leveraging Arista and Cisco technologies.
  • Manage risk mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues to stakeholders.
  • Oversee router/switch configuration for Arista and Cisco devices.
  • Conduct network testing using industry-standard protocols (SNMP, syslog, NTP, NetFlow).
  • Create and manage project communications plans to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Coordinate resources and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project completion.
  • Review and implement network best practices in accordance with established standards.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience with network design tools (MS Visio a plus).

Desirable Skills

  • Experience deploying Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switches and NCS routers.
  • Familiarity with MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, iBGP, eBGP, IS-IS routing protocols.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing enterprise QoS solutions (Catalyst, Nexus, NCS products).
  • Understanding of optical technologies and testing methodologies.
  • Valid/current CCNP certification a plus.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience required
  • Extensive network administration experience
  • In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, OSPF) in a large-scale network environment
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista technologies
